Senior Manager, Clinical Data Systems Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Clinical Data Systems to join our team at Allergan. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of clinical data systems that drive business value and support our mission to deliver innovative medicines and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple therapeutic areas and lead technology evaluations and implementations to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Create and sustain a high-performing team that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
- Practice continuous improvement of processes and technology usage to drive business value.
- Act as a subject matter expert and process owner, providing strategic direction and guidance to staff.
- Supervise and allocate internal and external resources, ensuring successful delivery against programs and maintaining best-in-industry resources.
- Ensure all performance assessment responsibilities are achieved for direct reports, providing training and feedback, resolving personnel issues, and managing talent retention.
- Manage cross-functional initiatives and provide strategic direction, advice, and guidance to staff on operations responsibilities and activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent; Master's preferred.
- 8+ years of experience with clinical database design, data loading, and database modeling concepts, or 9+ years in a similar technical or clinical development environment.
- Demonstrated intermediate SAS and/or SQL programming skills and expert knowledge of database concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of CDASH and SDTM Standards and in-depth understanding of clinical trial processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct authority, perform as a key contributor to initiatives, and advance the organization.
