Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Management Specialist to join our Immigration Services team at Accoravillage. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with new immigrants and refugees, providing essential support and guidance to help them settle into life in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and develop personalized service plans to address their unique challenges and goals.
  • Provide expert knowledge of community resources and services, connecting clients with the support they need to thrive.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, community partners, and other service providers to ensure seamless support and collaboration.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop action plans to address client needs, including access to healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to navigate complex systems and overcome barriers to access essential services.
  • Document client progress and outcomes, tracking efforts and results to inform service delivery and improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and client-centered approach to service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and best practices in immigration and settlement services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with newcomers to Canada, preferably in a case management or settlement services role.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and services, including healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, community partners, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transporting clients, if required.
  • Police Information Check and Child Intervention Record Check, as required.
