Job Summary:

Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Global Account Manager - Japanese/English to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, increasing sales activities, and acquiring new clients in the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and increase sales activities by acquiring new clients
  • Coordinate and order international sales activities
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests
  • Maintain accurate records such as sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documents
  • Communicate and report with/ to upper management regarding sales activities
  • Occasional domestic and international business travel as required
  • Creation of sales reports and miscellaneous documentation for upper management
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write business-level Japanese
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in English and Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing)
  • Must be able to travel nationwide and internationally if needed
  • Preferably has 12 years' work experience in Sales Support/Coordination, Office Administration, or Customer Support, preferably in the food and beverage industry
  • Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Excel (using pivot tables, formulas, V lookup, etc.) and QuickBooks is preferred
  • While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk, and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision
