We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Global Hire Immigration Services. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, maintain employee benefits records, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and MS Windows.
- Language: Fluency in English.
