About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 963822 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent litter and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained appearance.
  • Minor Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the building.
  • Landscape Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Work Environment: Work with minimal supervision and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Weather Conditions: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access to the building.

  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting may be required to perform job duties.
