**Job Title:** Maintenance Services Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Services Technician to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for facility systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, equipment, and buildings.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including boilers, refrigeration systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

  • One (1) year of experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial).
  • Fireman Boiler Operator certificate.
  • Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required.
  • Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job.
  • Pool Operator certificate, where required.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
