Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Maintenance Services Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for our facility systems, equipment, grounds, and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, equipment, and buildings to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct inspections and identify potential issues to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including boilers, refrigeration systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of experience in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial).
  • Fireman Boiler Operator certificate.
  • Boiler Operator License issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, where required.
  • Refrigeration Engineer certificate, where required by the job.
  • Pool Operator certificate, where required.
Competencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
