Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 963822 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our buildings.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
