Boston Pizza Port Alberni is seeking a skilled and experienced chef to lead our kitchen team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will analyze operating costs and other data to optimize our menu and services. You will also demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, supervise their activities, and create new recipes. Additionally, you will instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, and supervise them in their daily tasks. You will also prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs. If you have experience in a similar role and are passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences, we encourage you to apply. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The working hours are 35 hours per week.
