We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Boston Pizza Port Alberni. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Food Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of food quality and safety in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the best of their ability.
- Menu Development: Work with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions, ensuring that they are aligned with our brand values and guest preferences.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our culinary needs.
- Cost Control: Analyze and manage food costs, ensuring that we are operating within our budget and achieving our financial targets.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
