Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving change management plans and activities from initiation to implementation and sustainment to achieve desired business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful business outcomes.
  • Engage leaders, stakeholders, and other impacted audiences in the change to create an engaged workforce who understands the change and its impact on customers and employees.
  • Analyze business dimensions and associated risks to inform change management decisions.
  • Drive overall business results by ensuring that change is understood, accepted, and sustained.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business groups, influencing and negotiating to achieve business objectives.
  • Recommend and implement solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and identify emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.
  • Lead the change strategy planning process, combining subject matter expertise and organizational knowledge to implement successful change.
  • Analyze the scope of change to determine people, process, financial, technology, risks, and other impacts.
  • Break down strategic problems and analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Provide advice and guidance to assigned business groups on implementation of change, evaluating the change environment to understand complexity and impact of change.
  • Apply change management methodology and general management skills and knowledge to plan, organize, and execute change management in a variety of project sizes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development, and implementation of change, ensuring alignment between stakeholders.
  • Develop change management solutions and make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Develop change strategies that enable leaders to promote the change and execute the change, ensuring stakeholders want to make the change.
  • Build and execute communications plans to drive awareness and understanding, including analyzing audiences, developing key messages, and identifying the right channel, frequency, and sender.
  • Identify resistance to the change and build required plans to overcome objectives through communications and training to implement and sustain the change.
  • Monitor and track adoption of the change, addressing any issues, implementing corrective actions, and celebrating successes.
Requirements
  • Typically between 5-7 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices, and standards across the project lifecycle.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

What We Offer

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $68,000.00 - $126,000.00, a salaried pay type, and a comprehensive total compensation package that includes performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, and other perks and rewards.
