About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Electricians Supervisor to join our team at Jecxo Electrical & Renovation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the work of electrical workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions to meet project demands.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that electrical workers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring that we stay within budget.
  • Technical Expertise: Read blueprints and electrical schematics to ensure that electrical systems are designed and installed correctly.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary measures, to ensure that the electrical team is functioning effectively.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to support project needs.
  • Process Improvement: Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units to ensure seamless project execution.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition to ensure that they can contribute to the team effectively.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
