About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team at AA Electrical Services Inc. as a key member of our installation and maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install underground wiring and cables, splice, join and connect wires, and design and construct low voltage multiphase services for single or multimeter installations.
  • Testing and Troubleshooting: Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits, and troubleshoot and isolate faults.
  • Supervision and Safety: Supervise other workers and ensure adherence to safety protocols, including grounding and bonding electrical equipment, systems, and structures.
  • Renovation and Upgrade: Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with heavy loads, physically demanding tasks, and attention to detail required.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding conditions, and maintain attention to detail.
Personal Qualities and Suitability
  • Flexibility and Judgement: Demonstrate flexibility and sound judgement in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Work Term and Language: Permanent work term with English as the primary language of communication.
  • Hours of Work: 35 hours per week.
