Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at 2080836 Alberta Ltd. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with senior management, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
