We are seeking a skilled and experienced line cook to join our team at Chicken Chef Family Restaurant Regent. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities- Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient food preparation and minimize waste.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand and maintain inventory levels.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including international cuisine, to meet the needs of our diverse customer base.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen and ensure efficient food preparation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
