Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.

Culinary Operations

Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation, presentation, and service.

Team Management

Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management

Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.

Quality Control and Assurance

Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and a minimum of 7 months of experience in a similar role.

Culinary Skills

Proven ability to prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, with a focus on East Indian and vegetarian cuisine.

Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.

Personal Qualities

Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Working Conditions

35 to 50 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.

English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
