We are in search of a dynamic and analytical Operations Lead, Strategic Bid Team to join our team. This role is crucial in managing the daily operations of the Strategic Bid Team (SBT) while providing mentorship and guidance. You will collaborate closely with the SBT and technical experts to develop proposals and offer strategic direction.

A Day in the Life:

Oversee and assign RFPs while managing significant strategic bidsAct as the primary contact for clients, working closely with each team member on all responsesProvide daily support for addressing specific RFP inquiriesServe as a point of escalation and coaching for the team regarding resources and response strategiesGuide sales directors and subject matter experts on potential opportunitiesLead major projects with team members, including content revamps and best practice developmentManage and prioritize operational deliverables for the SBT teamSupport the establishment and adherence to the SBT team’s strategic direction in collaboration with the Sales Operations ManagerOffer coaching and mentorship to Proposal SpecialistsOversee full proposal management, including document creation, solution facilitation, and content developmentProofread, edit, format, and package proposalsAssist with the development and formatting of other response documents as neededCreate templates for multi-service contracts and statements of work as required

What You Bring:

5+ years of experience in proposal management2+ years of experience in business writing, proofreading, and editing2+ years of experience in a leadership role, either directly or indirectlyExceptional verbal and written communication skillsAbility to meet tight deadlines with flexibility to adapt to changing prioritiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft WordStrong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitaskMeticulous attention to detail and strong business acumenFamiliarity with proposal management software is an assetWillingness to work overtime as necessaryStrong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
