Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Acute Care department, you will provide primary therapeutic, case management, and mental health and substance use support services for assigned clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients with mental health and substance use issues
  • Develop and implement client-centered care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Conduct assessments and risk evaluations to identify client needs and develop strategies for support
  • Collaborate with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in a mental health and substance use related discipline, plus two years of recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Registration with a relevant professional organization (e.g. CRNBC, CRPNBC)
  • Valid BC driver's license and reliable transportation
