About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our Mental Health and Substance Use Services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, treatment, and support to clients with substance use and mental health issues, including those with concurrent disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the client's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting recovery and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
  • Two years of recent experience working with clients and families affected by substance use and mental health disorders.
  • Eligibility for registration with a professional association or regulatory body.
  • Valid B.C. Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
