Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our Mental Health and Substance Use Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients with complex mental health and substance use needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapy, counseling, and case management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to clients and families on mental health and substance use issues, including relapse prevention strategies and coping skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and healthcare providers to ensure access to comprehensive care.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
- 2 years of recent experience working with clients and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
- Valid Class V British Columbia driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business purposes.
