Butcher Assistant

At 21 Century, we are seeking a skilled Butcher Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and processing meats for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for cutting and processing
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats for distribution
- Remove bones from meat and grind as needed
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats for presentation
As a Butcher Apprentice, you will work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and safety. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week
- English language proficiency
