Toronto, Ontario, Canada Prodigy Education Full time

Prodigy Education, a worldwide frontrunner in interactive learning, is dedicated to inspiring a love for education in every student globally. We believe that learning should be as enjoyable as playing a game, which is fundamental to our educational approach. This philosophy drives us to create engaging experiences for students.

Through Prodigy, children enhance their skills in Mathematics and English while enjoying our engaging, adaptive learning games. We also provide tools for teachers and parents to support student learning both in the classroom and at home.

As the Lead Manager, Educator Engagement, you will be instrumental in shaping the strategy and expansion of our customer engagement program. Your main objective will be to attract, involve, and retain advocates who will passionately endorse our premier interactive learning platform to fellow educators. You will be tasked with fostering relationships with our most dedicated users and equipping them with the resources and incentives to share their enthusiasm for our platform through direct outreach to peer educators in their institutions and communities, social media promotion, and participation in broader educational initiatives.

Your Contributions
  • Develop and execute a thorough strategy to attract, engage, and retain advocates for our educational technology platform. This includes setting program objectives, creating a compelling advocate value proposition, identifying key success metrics, and establishing processes for evaluating and tracking program effectiveness.
  • Identify potential advocates within our existing highly engaged customer base and devise strategies to recruit them into our engagement program. Leverage data-driven insights to target educators who are most likely to become enthusiastic supporters of our platform.
  • Build strong relationships with advocates through consistent communication, personalized assistance, and acknowledgment of their contributions. Provide advocates with resources, training, and incentives to effectively promote our platform to their peers. Implement recognition initiatives to reward and motivate teacher advocates, enhancing their capacity to promote Prodigy within their networks.
  • Ensure our advocates receive early insights and professional development support to familiarize themselves with new Prodigy offerings. Create channels for advocates to provide feedback on new features and the program overall to facilitate continuous product enhancement.
  • Organize advocacy initiatives such as organic social media campaigns, testimonials, case studies, and speaking engagements at industry events, while encouraging advocate participation in our broader public-facing educator communities. Collaborate closely with our marketing, educator support, and communications teams to amplify the voices of our advocates and maximize their influence.
  • Continuously assess the performance of the advocacy program and evaluate the impact of advocacy activities on key business metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, and brand visibility. Utilize insights gathered to refine program strategies and tactics.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams across the organization, including marketing, educator support, and product development, to align our advocacy efforts with overall business goals and to maximize the benefits gained from our advocates.
About You
  • 7-10 years of experience focusing on customer engagement, community management, or related fields.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing effective advocacy programs that drive measurable growth in customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and nurture advocates at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and assess the impact of advocacy initiatives.
  • Indirect leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for education and a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by educators.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics, and engagement scoring models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Education, Business, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in the Educational Technology sector.
Interview Process
  • We look forward to learning about your skills and experiences. Here is what you can expect during the interview process:
  • An engaging 45-minute conversation with our Recruiter
  • A comprehensive 60-minute interview with the Hiring Manager
  • A 60-minute discussion with Team Members
  • A Case Study interview - no preparation required
  • A final interview with our CMO
Working At Prodigy
  • Join a mission-driven organization committed to helping every student develop a love for learning. At Prodigy Education, your contributions positively impact the lives of millions of students and educators worldwide.
  • Be part of a company that fosters a Growth Mindset among its team members, allowing you to grow alongside us. You'll also work on award-winning products that harness the power of mathematics and language for students in grades 1-8.
  • We recognize that a thriving team is essential to our success. Therefore, in addition to an inspiring mission and fulfilling work, our Total Rewards Program reflects our commitment to your financial, physical, and mental well-being.
  • It's not just about the work; it's about the culture. As highlighted in a recent feature, Prodigy's corporate culture is built gradually from the ground up and is always evolving.
  • We believe in the power of our collective potential to transform education. We are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace that empowers and creates opportunities for all.
