Regional Sales Director Opportunity

Mohawk is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our regional sales efforts in Canada. As a Regional Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across key commercial segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to drive sales growth
  • Mentor and coach a team of 5-7 Account Executives to achieve sales results
  • Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to align commercial sales business plans with regional strategies and objectives
  • Represent the commercial business unit and implement trade activity calendars to exploit business opportunities and strengthen the brand position in the marketplace

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • ~5-7 or more years of related work experience and any combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job
  • Knowledge of the terms, concepts, and practices of the marketing and sales environment, including product development and manufacturing procedures, distribution, customer service, and basic accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and negotiate with internal and external customers and business contacts at all organizational levels
  • Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of a company's diverse business and product lines, as well as gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze statistical and financial data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge of Mohawk products, distribution options, sales strategies, and/or programs
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for trade shows, customer visitation, team meetings, etc.
