Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at Brock Group in Kitimat. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining insulation systems on LNGC vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install insulation systems on LNGC vessels, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and contractor specifications.
  • Select and apply the appropriate insulation materials and methods for various surfaces and equipment.
  • Remove or seal old asbestos insulation, and install vapor barriers and finish insulated surfaces.
  • Sort and organize materials, and count and place orders for materials as needed.
  • Complete safety paperwork, including FLRA's and Start Cards.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years' previous insulating experience.
  • Valid certification from an accredited apprenticeship board.
  • CSTS is a minimum safety requirement; other tickets may be required.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, stand or walk for long periods, and climb ladders and scaffolding at extreme heights.
  • Ability to wear a full-face respirator for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Language and Rate of Pay

English is the primary language of communication. The rate of pay is $33.00-$58.66 per hour.
