Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Out of the Box Packaging Inc. as a Bakery Machinery Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and maintaining industrial machinery, as well as supervising other workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and maintain industrial machinery, including mechanical equipment and stationary machinery.
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and construct foundations for machinery.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts and perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
  • Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials for maintenance projects.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and install machinery and equipment.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy machinery and equipment.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a regular schedule of 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
