Client Care Specialist, Veterinary Reception

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Client Care Specialist to enhance our team. This part-time role encompasses a variety of duties that are essential for the smooth and effective functioning of our facility. Your main objective will be to ensure that both our clients and their pets receive a warm welcome, expert care, and appreciation.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for our patients and their owners.
- Support veterinary personnel with various tasks and treatments as needed.
- Manage a multiline phone system to efficiently track and schedule appointments.
- Conduct follow-up calls to pet owners for appointment confirmations and future bookings.
- Handle email communications with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal messages.
- Oversee the admission and discharge processes for pet patients.
- Manage invoicing and billing tasks, including creating estimates, obtaining client confirmations, and processing payments.
- Schedule appointments effectively.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service skills, demonstrating a natural ability to put clients at ease.
- Showcase strong organizational abilities in managing tasks.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the reception area, pet holding areas, and common spaces.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn more about veterinary services and assist the veterinary team with various responsibilities.
