We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Springwood Animal Hospital.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to animals, including diagnosing diseases, treating injuries, and advising clients on animal care and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries in animals through physical examinations and laboratory tests
- Prescribe medication and perform surgery as needed
- Advise clients on animal care, nutrition, and behavior
- Perform routine and emergency examinations, including post-mortem exams
- Provide a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia
- Degree in veterinary medicine or a related field
- Experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in a clinic or hospital
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
