Sales Development Representative

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for contacting, prospecting, and generating leads to secure new customers for our Sales Team.
You will utilize a variety of tools and methods, with the support of our entire organization, to present our company's products and services. You will build comprehensive knowledge and consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Salesforce, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Identify the needs of prospects and suggest appropriate products or services
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and our Sr. Business Development Manager
- Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Requirements:
- You are a self-starter with heaps of initiative
- A natural born communicator with active listening and clear communication skills
- Endlessly curious with a desire to find new customers and solve problems
- You want a career in sales
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Salesforce is an asset, but not required
- You have a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
