Position Summary

As a Concessions Operations Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our venue's concessions operations. Your responsibilities will encompass food preparation and production, compliance with alcohol service policies, guest service, employee/volunteer hiring, training, and scheduling, closing duties, balancing bookwork, troubleshooting, minimizing waste, and providing high-level event oversight.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate between $19.25 to $20.75. Full-time roles also enjoy benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, along with paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and holidays).

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of approximately 25-30 concession staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce alcohol service policies, promoting responsible consumption and preventing underage drinking.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving guest inquiries and concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule concession staff members, ensuring adequate coverage for all events.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and minimizing waste.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation standards and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate event logistics and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications
  • Six months to one-year of related experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably within a venue setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and vendors.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
  • Proficiency in basic math functions for cash handling and inventory management.
  • Valid Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Certifications.
