Job Summary

Oak View Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Concession Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for assisting in the effective management and operation of our concessions stands, ensuring a high level of event oversight, technical proficiency, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of concession operations strategies to ensure efficient and profitable execution of events.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure they meet company quality standards and provide excellent guest service.
  • Initiate and authorize employment actions, including hiring, training, promotion, transfer, discipline, suspension, and termination.
  • Ensure proper setup and operation of concession locations, including inventory management, sanitation standards, and cash handling procedures.
  • Provide direction and oversight to Stand Supervisors and staff to ensure smooth and efficient execution of events.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, and other relevant regulations.
  • Assist with Premium Services operations and events needs as required.
  • Provide on-going assistance, training, and mentoring to staff to promote a positive and enthusiastic work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including employee documentation, inventory management, and cash reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Ability to make sound business and operations decisions quickly and under pressure.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions and handle cash accurately and responsibly.
  • Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess valid Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Certifications.
