Position Overview

The Partner Relations Manager is responsible for establishing, nurturing, and sustaining effective relationships with IT vendors and internal service teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate and maintain productive partnerships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate advantageous terms for products and services to enhance business operations.
  • Exhibit strong supplier management skills to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Lead the introduction of new offerings that align with strategic category initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the business plan for assigned partners, ensuring continuous updates and execution.
  • Collaborate with vendors and sales teams to create compelling solutions for target markets.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, margins, vendor reimbursements, and marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct quarterly evaluations of business governance and drive competitive initiatives.

Partner Investment Management

  • Promote the value proposition and marketing initiatives of Insight to partners.
  • Identify partner-specific priorities and secure approvals for marketing development fund (MDF) investments.
  • Oversee the MDF program for partners, ensuring timely financial transactions.
  • Analyze financial benefits and provide regular reports to management.
  • Recommend and negotiate promotional pricing and special purchase opportunities.

Training and Development

  • Implement training programs for both external and internal stakeholders regarding new product introductions (NPI), continuously updating training materials.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in partner or supplier management roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while managing multiple tasks and leading teams.
  • Experience in e-commerce or B2B distribution is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of performance metrics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills are essential.
  • Bilingual capabilities are considered a strong asset.

Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based, involving computer work. The role may require occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and some travel.
