About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Kelowna General Hospital. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and related duties in collaboration with Radiologists, Cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and verifying requisitions from Physicians for diagnostic ultrasound procedures and examinations.
  • Performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and examinations in accordance with established standards, procedures, and protocols.
  • Organizing workload according to exam priority and equipment availability.
  • Monitoring patient care and safety by ensuring procedures adhere to department standards, policies, and protocols.

You will be working in our Echo Lab, which is part of a large Diagnostic Cardiology Department. Compensation

The hourly wage for Cardiac Sonographers will be $40.83 to $50.94, effective April 01, 2024.
