Employment Type:
Casual employment with flexible hours ranging from 0 to 37.5 hours per week. Work may be available on short notice or through pre-scheduled shifts to cover absences.
Shift Details:
Shifts will include Days and Evenings, with times such as 06:00 to 14:00, 06:30 to 14:30, 07:00 to 15:00, and others.

Key Responsibilities:
The Cardiac Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and collaborate with Radiologists, Cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals. Key duties include:
- Receiving and processing requisitions for ultrasound procedures.
- Conducting all ultrasound examinations following established protocols and standards.
- Organizing workload based on exam priority and equipment availability.
- Ensuring patient safety and care by adhering to departmental policies.

Ultrasound equipment includes:
- Philips IE33
- GE Vivid S6
- Meditech HIS
- McKesson CPACs
Impact of the Role:
The successful candidate will work within the Echo Lab, part of a comprehensive Diagnostic Cardiology Department that includes various cardiac services. The lab performs a significant number of inpatient and outpatient Echo exams annually.
