Landscape Construction Crew Foreman/Manager Job Description

Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Crew Foreman/Manager to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscape construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of landscape construction crew members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other technical documents to understand project requirements.
  • Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that projects meet their expectations.
  • Manage and maintain equipment, tools, and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in horticulture, landscape architecture, or a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in landscape construction, with a focus on crew leadership and management.
  • Valid Class G driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work at heights, lift heavy objects, and perform physical labor.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
