Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at RMJ & N.C. Landscaping Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our landscaping crew, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including lawn care, pruning, and planting.
  • Organize and direct construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, including scheduling and coordinating with contractors and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of work completed, including materials used and labor hours.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of time and resources.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in horticulture, landscape design, or a related field an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work at heights, in extreme weather conditions, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
