Landscape Construction Crew Supervisor

At Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd., we are seeking a skilled Landscape Construction Crew Foreman/Manager to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of landscapes, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for projects
  • Complete daily job site journals and work orders
  • Conduct weekly toolbox meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns
  • Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment
  • Operate various pieces of equipment, including those required for planting, grading, and sod installation
  • Hold a valid Class G License and provide own transportation to project sites
  • Work weekends and long hours as required
  • Schedule materials and equipment for the next day
  • Lead and manage crews to ensure efficient project completion
  • Plant trees, shrubs, and lay sod as required
  • Rake, level, and grade landscapes to meet client specifications
  • Install hard and soft landscapes, including wet lay and asset installation

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • CLT/CLP or two-year technical college certificate in horticulture an asset
  • Valid first aid certificate an asset
  • WHMIS training an asset
  • 2-4 years of experience in the horticultural industry
