Job Opportunity at Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Crew Foreman/Manager to join our team at Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and landscape construction, with experience in leading teams and managing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of landscape construction crew members
  2. Managing projects from start to finish, including reading blueprints and specs
  3. Completing daily job site journals and work orders
  4. Performing weekly toolbox meetings and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
  5. Assisting with maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment
  6. Operating various pieces of equipment, including lawn mowers and other horticultural tools
  7. Providing own transportation to project sites
  8. Working weekends and long hours as required
  9. Scheduling materials and equipment for the next day
  10. Scheduling and running crews
  11. Planting trees, shrubs, and laying sod
  12. Raking, leveling, and grading
  13. Installing hard and soft landscapes, including wet lay and asset

Requirements include:

  1. High school diploma
  2. CLT/CLP or Two-year technical college certificate in horticulture an asset
  3. Valid first aid certificate an asset
  4. WHMIS training an asset
  5. 2-4 years of experience in horticulture and landscape construction
