A role as a Branch Operations Coordinator at National Bank Financial requires a collaborative approach with clients and team members, which will be essential for success. In this position, you will oversee the efficient execution of daily administrative functions, adhering to established policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of daily branch operations concerning financial transactions
  • Serve as the primary contact for operational inquiries, HR matters, and logistical support for branch staff
  • Communicate administrative policies and procedures effectively, ensuring understanding and adherence among branch personnel
  • Conduct thorough follow-ups as advised by Internal Audit and Compliance
  • Monitor and manage budgets associated with branch operations
  • Maintain a conducive work environment and ensure the upkeep of branch facilities
  • Provide diverse administrative assistance to the Regional Manager as needed

Your team:

National Bank Financial – Wealth Management stands as the fifth largest investment dealer in Canada, with nearly 1,000 investment advisors managing the assets of over 400,000 clients across approximately 100 branches.

You will report directly to the Regional Manager for your designated area. Success in this role will hinge on effective collaboration and partnership.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a college or technical diploma with 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • Experience in providing administrative support
  • Background in the investment sector is advantageous
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course is a plus
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
