We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Branch Operations Coordinator to join our team at National Bank Financial. As a key member of our branch operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Compliance: Ensure that all financial transactions and branch operations are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Client and Colleague Support: Act as a primary point of contact for operational issues, HR questions, and logistical needs for branch employees.
- Policy and Procedure Dissemination: Communicate administrative procedures and policies to branch employees and ensure they understand and comply with them.
- Internal Audit and Compliance: Perform rigorous follow-ups as recommended by Internal Audit and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Closely monitor budgets related to branch activities and ensure effective financial management.
- Facilities Management: Ensure that the branch premises and work environment are maintained to a high standard.
- Regional Manager Support: Provide administrative support to the Regional Manager on various tasks and projects.
National Bank Financial - Wealth Management is a leading investment dealer in Canada, with a network of close to 1,000 investment advisors serving over 400,000 clients across 100 branches.
You will report to the Regional Manager for your branch's region and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
Requirements- Education and Experience: College or technical diploma and 3 years of experience, or bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Administrative Support: Proven experience in administrative support roles.
- Investment Industry Experience: Experience in the investment industry is an asset.
- Professional Certifications: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course is an asset.
- Technical Skills: Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
