Position Overview:We are in search of a Branch Manager to oversee our Commercial Insurance Division. This role requires mobility and travel.
Key Responsibilities:- Report directly to the Territory Manager while collaborating with a team of insurance professionals to ensure sales and service teams meet their targets and branch operations run smoothly.
- Oversee daily management of the team.
- Direct the Commercial Insurance functions within the branch to meet growth and profitability goals.
- Establish and track objectives related to growth, retention, accounts receivable, quality of business, and expenses.
- Communicate and implement strategies to achieve set goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with other Branch Managers to ensure service quality and sales standards are upheld.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to quality, customer service, and sales to uphold our Customer Value Proposition.
- Be accountable for staffing and team leadership, motivating staff to engage with company objectives and keeping front-line staff informed of changes.
- Develop succession plans for key roles.
- Manage general administrative functions of the team, including IT, payroll, hiring, and human resources.
- Post-Secondary Education.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in both Personal and Commercial lines.
- Insurance Designation (CAIB, CIP, FCIP, AIIC, RIBO, or AIC Level 2).
- Ability to analyze and interpret numerical data.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must pass a criminal and credit background check.
