Job Summary

Elite Telecommunications is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a Telecommunications Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Service and Repair: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment, repair cable signals, and diagnose and locate equipment faults.
  • Testing and Analysis: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults, analyze test results, and adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
  • Customer Service: Complete and maintain test and service reports, determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player, dependable, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

As a Telecommunications Technician with Elite Telecommunications, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be expected to maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Language and Work Conditions
  • Language: English.
  • Work Conditions: 30 hours per week, permanent position.
