Job Title: Telecommunications Technician

Elite Telecommunications is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment and systems. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment, diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust or repair telecommunications equipment.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Test installed telephone systems to locate transmission faults, analyze test results, and adjust or repair switching systems, networks, and associated equipment and software.
  • Customer Service: Complete and maintain test and service reports, determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in telecommunications or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
