Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill - Welland. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff performance and productivity.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules to meet customer demand and ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to optimize food preparation and minimize waste.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports to inform business decisions.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management and minimize losses.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy.
