Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jay Shree Umiya Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency in food service delivery.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment with a fast-paced environment.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, and initiative.
