Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Charlie's Chopsticks Welland.
Job Summary:The Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we get the best value for our budget
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, building strong relationships with our customers
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently
The Restaurant Operations Manager will supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent customer service.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:The Restaurant Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and customer demands. They will need to be able to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
Personal Suitability:We are looking for a candidate who is client-focused, dependable, and has excellent interpersonal skills. They should be able to work efficiently, be organized, and have a strong sense of reliability and teamwork.
This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
