We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Expert to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our Supply Chain Management team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in managing and analyzing data to support decision making and monitor performance of the service.
About You
- You have a Bachelor Degree in business, science or engineering, or other fields relevant to the duties performed.
- You have a minimum of three years' experience in a supply chain analytical role working with large volumes of complex information.
- You have project management certification and lean certification, which are assets.
- You have experience supervising staff and coaching to achieve high levels of performance.
- You have the ability to manage multiple priorities and strict deadlines.
- You have SAP experience, which is strongly preferred.
- You have the ability to forge partnerships with other functional areas to drive performance across the business.
- You have the capability of managing large amounts of data and able to extract and summarize the critical points.
- You have proficient communication skills in a clear, concise manner.
- You have advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).
- You have proven ability to utilize systems and information to effectively communicate business performance and support other users.
- You have attention to detail in preparation and delivery of recall information to a wide audience.
- You have highly developed numeracy and IT skills to support the business.
- You have demonstrated ability to create and maintain excellent customer service.
- You have strong analytical skills and strong conflict resolution skills.
- You have the ability to efficiently delegate issues to team members.
- You have competencies in other languages, which are preferred; French is an asset.

Hours- This is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly.
The hourly rate for this position is $35.27 - $44.09. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
