About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at 3085496 NOVA SCOTIA LIMITED. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for procuring high-quality merchandise for resale, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring efficient distribution of products to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Product Sourcing: Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, selecting and purchasing products that meet our quality and pricing standards.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve our supply chain processes to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Work Environment

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the wholesale or retail industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Language and Work Conditions

The language of work is English, and the work term is permanent. The work hours are 35 hours per week.
