About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Edo Japan. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to inform kitchen operations and decision-making.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and high-quality food production.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
