Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team at Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for coordinating the full-cycle recruitment process, including attracting, sourcing, and screening top talent within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including recruiting, interviewing, reference checking, and referring candidates for various positions throughout the site.
  • Attend recruitment events, liaise with recruitment agencies, education institutions, associations, and other stakeholders to bring in top talent and fill requisitions as quickly as possible.
  • Coordinate, process, and administer new hire paperwork, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Conduct interview preparation sessions with internal team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful candidate assessments.
  • Provide HR advice and support to site managers and team members on all HR processes, assisting with issue resolution and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Create and develop internal and external offer letters, reviewing salary, benefits, pension, and other employment details with candidates.
  • Work under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Team Lead to strategize and streamline all recruitment initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage the applicant-tracking system, ensuring continuous recording of information and providing users with access and support as needed.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures, promoting and maintaining the utmost integrity and a high caliber of customer service.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in human resources is preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in Human Resources and 2-year experience in recruitment.
  • Experience recruiting in both union and non-union environments is an asset.
  • CHRP or any other HR designation is an asset.
  • Comprehensive computer skills, including Microsoft Office and HRIS systems, are required.
  • Proven track-record of responsiveness and meeting deadlines, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
