Position Overview

We are in search of a Senior Commercial Insurance Broker to enhance our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team to cultivate and promote new and renewal business opportunities for our clients. A robust understanding of the insurance landscape and the ability to forge strong relationships with insurance providers are critical for this role.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 General Insurance License
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
  • Over 10 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance
  • At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Placement Broking/Marketing
  • In-depth technical knowledge of insurance policies
  • Exceptional communication abilities
  • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team setting
  • Familiarity with EPIC and PolicyWorks software
  • Preferred designations: CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM

  • Design and implement marketing strategies for clients
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers
  • Compile and organize documentation for business submissions
  • Evaluate and analyze policy language
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members
